About
I've lived in Kota Kinabalu my whole life. Grew up here, still here, and honestly have no plans to leave.
Most days look something like this: work from home, lunch somewhere I've been going to for years, maybe a badminton session in the evening, then home to my two golden retrievers and whatever's on the PS5. Throw in some Dota on a lazy night and that's pretty much me.
I'm not a food blogger or a travel writer. I'm just someone who eats a lot and has opinions about it.
The reason this blog exists is simple. Every time a friend flies in from KL or somewhere further, I end up sending them this long WhatsApp message about where to eat, what to skip, what's actually worth the trip. Places that don't show up on the first page of Google. The noodle restaurant in Tanjung Aru that I've been going to since I was a kid. The local fried chicken chain that every KK person knows but nobody writes about.
That's what this is. Just me sharing the stuff I actually know.
No sponsored content. No paid write-ups. If it's on here, I genuinely like it.
If you're a local and you think I got something wrong, or you have a spot I should try, please message me. I mean that.
And if you're visiting Sabah and want to eat and drink like someone who actually lives here, you're in the right place.
